DIABETES - Who is at risk?

One person in every 50 in Britain and one in every 20 in the United States suffers from diabetes, but fewer than half of these cases are diagnosed. Diabetes is not caused by eating too much sugar or the wrong kind of food, nor can it be 'caught'.
